Madeleine's mommy and daddy
I just read the most heart-wrenching story about Madeleine McCann. Her devastated mother has written about the anguish and heartbreak lived by her, and by Madeleine’s father, Gerry, after the loss of their four-year old baby. I’m sure that most of you know the story for it was headline news for quite some time. I, for one, have never forgotten the images of that precious and innocent child. How I hoped and prayed that she would be found and returned safely to the arms of her loving parents. But it was not to be. Now, four years later, Kate and Gerry McCann are no closer to the truth. After the cases of Elizabeth Smart and Jaycee Dugard, they have hopes that their little angel will be found and returned to them to heal from whatever ordeal she has been through.
IF this baby is alive, someone knows where she is. I am asking that everyone retweet this message, and pass along the blog if you don’t have twitter. For those of you who are traveling to Portugal or to Spain or to other countries bordering Portugal, take along a photo of this baby and ask around. Keep your eyes and ears open. If I didn’t have to work, I swear I would take off and go myself. Unfortunately, the police in Portugal have basically given up and no longer look for Madeleine.
Yes, I know that there are many missing children in the world, and every missing child deserves for the world to never give up. I say that IF we know about any missing baby, we do what we can to find them. In this case, we have photos and we do know where Madeleine was taken from. Please help if you can. If this little girl is found alive and returned to her parents, she will be saved from a continuing nightmare.
What broke my heart is how tiny she was, and how she loved her parents, and was loved by her parents. What a nightmare for that baby to be in the clutches of pure evil.

I agree with you, and I believe that prayers are very powerful, particularly combined prayers. It’s been proven to be so. As I mentioned on the other post, the mother of this child specificially requested that everyone who reads the book to spread the word about her still missing daughter. Although none of us can wave a magic wand and have that child returned to her parents, we can certainly fulfill the mother’s written request that we remind everyone we talk to about the fact that this baby has still not be found. There is someone out there who knows the truth of this baby. Perhaps one day someone will come forward and solve this mystery and help relieve the anguish of these parents.
