Who Is Me
About jeansasson
I'm a woman with a keen interest in a wide range of topics including women's issues; animal rights issues; humanitarian issues and political movements, such as the events currently sweeping the Middle East. I am an avid reader and collector of books, mainly about travelers of the 18th and 19th centuries. I have enormous curiosity about other people and relish hearing about lives and opinions of people from all over the world. I’m the author of the PRINCESS series, GROWING UP BIN LADEN, MAYADA DAUGHTER OF IRAQ, FOR THE LOVE OF A SON, and more. Over the past few years the princess and I have met and worked together to bring out a 4th, 5th and 6th book. The 4th is titled: PRINCESS, MORE TEARS TO CRY while the 5th is titled: PRINCESS, SECRETS TO SHARE. The 6th, titled PRINCESS, STEPPING OUT OF THE SHADOWS is to be released in October 2018. I am currently working on my memoirs. Details to be released soon. You can visit my website (http://www.jeansasson.com/) or check out my books on Amazon for more info.

amazing. thanks so much for sharing
The situation in Gaza is not simple, but the simple truth is that we all understand regardless of our religion, ethnic or political points is that the suffering of innocent children must stop, My daughter Sarah is the same as Nisreen, she asked me one day to figure this out: I built a wall on your land and when I build it, I will stole some of your land and allowed you exit from few spots only and allowed you out whenever I felt like it. I sullied your water, blew up your electrical plants and sewage system. I left you with no water no electricity and blew your home and killed your family. I agreed to the cease fire but didn’t want to leave and continued digging and blowing shelters because I was looking for a bad guy, I bombed hospitals, schools, ambulances and you are encircled in my wall enclosure as I have designed a mass slaughter for Palestinians. Have you figured me out? I have guaranteed another Palestinian generation full of resentment for killing of their families, friends, neighbors Those world leaders fail to live up to his international statesman status.
Rana.
You are so welcome. Everyone should read your blog. While very few people want children to suffer, not many people will go out of their way to help the innocent. Your writings will help many people to understand that so much of what is happening is a human interest story — few of us can do anything about politics and governments, but we can try to help little children.
Hi Jean, I recall you mentioning that there would be Princess Sultana news this August. Can we expect something very exciting?
Hi Peter, yes, you are right — There is a new book in the series about Princess Sultana’s life — I love all the family stories and I think readers will, too. I’ll soon be writing a blog on the book’s release and possibly posting an excerpt… Thanks for following up with me. (Can’t believe you remembered my comment!) (smile)
Talk later, Jean
By the way, I’m not sure what your stance on this is, but how do you feel about the deplorable conditions the LGBT community experience throughout the Middle East experience? I understand you are a freedom fighter for women’s rights, but I’d love to know if you feel the same way for gays and lesbians too. If you are a supporter, have you ever considered penning a book on this topic?
PS – SOO excited for the new Princess Sultana book…I’ve been dying to know how she’s been doing all these years later. I’ve read the entire trilogy so far.
Hi again, Peter… Personally, I believe that all people should be free to follow their own path in life, and I will defend that right for all people. No one should be punished for their sexual orientation, no one. While I have not thought of penning a book on the topic but there is an interesting story in the latest coming out in a few weeks that I think you will appreciate. I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll let you discover it for yourself. And, you ARE going to love catching up with the princess — she has become even more determined and is doing so much good in the world. Thanks, again!
Just pre-ordered my copy on Amazon today–I cannot wait! 🙂
Oh Peter, thanks for telling me. I hope you love it…. We all must spread the word about injustice in our world. We really can make a difference!
